HIPAA-Eligible Voice AI

Voice AI for HIPAA scope.
Live this week, not next quarter.

Most healthcare voice AI vendors gate the Business Associate Agreement behind an enterprise sales cycle. The contract takes a quarter to sign before the first call gets routed.

I deploy on stacks where I have relationships that allow for BAAs within a short timeline. Typically in production in days. And when the right platform gates its BAA behind an enterprise contract, I negotiate. I have gotten BAAs granted on non-enterprise plans.

What's Covered

The same engineering, scoped for PHI.

  • A signed Business Associate Agreement on the orchestration layer
  • HIPAA-eligible speech-to-text, language model, and text-to-speech sub-processors
  • Telephony configured for HIPAA conduit treatment
  • Recording and transcript storage on infrastructure you control
  • Audit-ready documentation of the data flow

On a retainer, this is simply part of what I own. The compliance posture is a technical decision like any other, and it gets made by someone accountable for the whole system.

Honest Limits

Not every call flow needs HIPAA scope.

If your calls do not touch protected health information, you do not need this scope, and I will tell you so. If they do, the working session will tell us which compliance posture fits your specific situation.

I will be honest about what your call flow requires and what it does not. That is part of the work.
